Thank you for booking your Christmas Mini Session. I look forward to creating beautiful Christmas memories with your family.

Please read these terms before completing your booking. In these terms, “I”, “me” and “the photographer” refer to Olessia McGregor, trading as Olessia McGregor Photography.

By booking and/or purchasing a Christmas Mini Session with Olessia McGregor Photography, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Your Booking

Christmas Mini Sessions are available on selected dates and times, subject to availability.

Your appointment is confirmed once you have completed the booking process and your required booking payment has been received.

Your booking includes:

A 20-minute photography session.

Six professionally edited, high-resolution digital images.

A private online gallery.

Photography for two parents and up to three children.

Sessions take place at my private studio in Thornlands, Redlands Coast, Queensland. The studio address and arrival information will be provided with your booking details.

Your appointment and selected Christmas set are shown in your booking confirmation. Please check these details and contact me promptly if anything is incorrect.

2. Payment

The price and inclusions for your Christmas Mini Session are those shown in your selected offer at the time of booking and recorded in your booking confirmation. All prices are in Australian dollars.

Unless your selected offer states otherwise, a $150 booking payment is required to secure your appointment. This payment forms part of your total session price.

The remaining balance is due three days before your session. For bookings made within three days of the session, full payment is required at booking.

Discounts and special offers apply only to the bookings, dates and packages specified in that offer. Any conditions will be displayed before payment.

Additional participants, images, prints and upgrades are charged separately at the prices disclosed and agreed before purchase.

Cancellation and rescheduling arrangements are set out below.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Your booking reserves a specific appointment for your family. If you need to cancel, please contact me in writing as soon as possible.

If you cancel rather than transfer your appointment, any cancellation amount retained will reflect reasonable costs and losses resulting from your cancellation. This will take into account costs saved and whether the appointment is rebooked.

The cancellation amount will not exceed the booking payment you actually paid. Any remaining amount, including any balance payment above the cancellation amount, will be refunded.

This policy also applies to missed appointments and sessions that cannot reasonably proceed because of late arrival.

Where Australian Consumer Law requires a different remedy, your statutory rights take priority.

4. Rescheduling

With at least three days’ notice, you may request one transfer to another available Christmas Mini Session appointment within the same Christmas season, without a transfer fee.

Your existing payments will be credited towards the replacement appointment. If you choose a different package, any price difference will be explained and agreed before the transfer is confirmed.

Requests made with less than three days’ notice will be considered individually, including where illness or an emergency is involved.

Replacement appointments and the same Christmas set cannot be guaranteed. If no suitable replacement is available and you cancel, section 3 applies.

A transfer is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from me.

5. Photographer Cancellation or Rescheduling

In the unlikely event that Olessia McGregor Photography needs to cancel or reschedule your session due to illness, emergency, unsafe conditions or circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Where possible, we will offer an alternative session time.If we cannot agree on a suitable replacement, I will refund all payments made for the cancelled session.

This does not limit any other rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Arrival & Late Appointments

Christmas Mini Sessions operate on a tightly scheduled calendar, with families booked one after another.

Please arrive [5–10 minutes] before your scheduled session time so that you are ready to begin promptly.

If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened to avoid impacting the family booked after you.

If you arrive after your appointment has ended, or too late for photography to reasonably proceed, your booking will be treated as a missed appointment under section 3.

7. Children & Family Participation

We want your Christmas Mini Session to be relaxed and enjoyable.

While we will do everything reasonably possible to engage children and create beautiful photographs, we cannot guarantee particular expressions, poses, smiles or cooperation from individual participants.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children at all times during the session.

Please let us know before your session about any accessibility requirements or other information that may reasonably assist us in providing an appropriate experience for your family.

8. Session Participants

Your participant allowance is specified in your selected offer and booking confirmation.

Additional children, adults or grandparents must be arranged beforehand and may incur additional charges. I will confirm availability and the cost before you agree to include them.

All groups must remain within the studio’s safe capacity. Please confirm larger groups with me before booking.

Pets may attend only with my prior written approval.

9. Christmas Set, Props & Styling

Your session will use the Christmas set specified in your booking confirmation.

Minor decorations and props may differ from promotional photographs because of availability, damage or safety requirements.

If a substantial change to your selected set becomes necessary, I will contact you to discuss alternatives. If we cannot agree on a suitable alternative, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

Personal props and keepsakes are welcome by prior arrangement, subject to suitability and safety.

10. What to Wear

A preparation or styling guide may be provided before your session to help you choose clothing that works well with the Christmas set.

These recommendations are provided as guidance only. Final wardrobe choices remain the client's responsibility.

11. Image Selection & Inclusions

Your included images and other package benefits are those specified in your selected offer and booking confirmation.

Unless your offer states that the photographer selects your images, you will choose your included photographs from a private selection gallery.

Selection instructions and any applicable deadlines will be explained when your gallery is delivered.

Additional images, prints and upgrades may be purchased separately. Their prices and inclusions will be provided before purchase.

An “entire gallery” upgrade means all final edited photographs selected by the photographer for that gallery. It does not include every photograph taken, duplicates, test photographs, rejected images or RAW files.

The number of available gallery images may vary between sessions. You can view the available images before deciding whether to upgrade.

12. Image Editing

Your photographs will be selected and edited in my established photographic style.

Standard editing includes colour and exposure adjustments, cropping and general image enhancement.

Extensive retouching, body alteration, major object removal, background replacement and other substantial changes are not included unless expressly agreed.

Please discuss specific editing requests with me. I will confirm whether they are possible and any additional cost before proceeding.

RAW and unedited image files are not supplied.

13. Image Delivery

The expected delivery timeframe for your selection gallery and final images will be stated in your offer or booking information before payment.

Final delivery may depend on receiving your image selections and any outstanding payment.

I will notify you when your gallery is ready and contact you if an unexpected delay occurs. Any expressly agreed delivery deadline remains part of your booking.

Your final download gallery will remain available for one month from the delivery notification, unless a longer period is agreed.

Please download your purchased images and keep a backup before the gallery expires. If you need more time, contact me before expiry. Restoration after expiry cannot be guaranteed.

14. Copyright & Personal Use

Copyright in all photographs remains with Olessia McGregor Photography, subject to applicable law.

You receive a non-exclusive personal-use licence for your purchased digital images. This allows you to:

- Print photographs and create gifts for personal use.

- Share photographs with family and friends.

- Display photographs in your home.

- Share photographs on your personal social media accounts.

You may supply the files to a printing service to produce your personal prints or gifts.

Selling or licensing the photographs, using them in commercial advertising, or entering them into competitions requires my prior written permission.

Ordinary resizing and cropping for personal sharing are permitted. Please obtain permission before applying filters, AI alterations or other substantial changes to the finished photographs.

15. Photographer's Use of Images

Booking a session does not automatically give me permission to use your photographs for promotional purposes.

Permission for website, social media, advertising, portfolio or competition use will be requested separately through a model release.

Promotional use of children’s photographs requires appropriate parent or guardian consent.

You may decline promotional use and still book your session. Your decision will not affect your package or the care provided.

16. Safety

The safety of clients, children and the photography team is important.

Clients agree to follow reasonable safety directions while attending the session.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children in and around the studio, location, sets and props.

If the photographer reasonably considers an activity, pose or use of a prop unsafe, they may decline to proceed with it.

17. Illness

Please follow reasonable safety instructions while visiting the studio. I may decline an activity, pose or use of a prop if I consider it unsafe.

If anyone attending is unwell, particularly with a potentially contagious illness, please contact me as soon as possible.

Please do not attend with a contagious illness. I will discuss available rescheduling options under section 4.

If the session cannot be rescheduled and you cancel, section 3 applies, subject to your consumer rights.

18. Personal Property

Please take care of your personal belongings during your session.

To the extent permitted by law, Olessia McGregor Photography is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property brought to the session except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with your booking and session will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

Acceptance of These Terms

By proceeding with your booking and/or payment for a Christmas Mini Session, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
